One of my new favorite clothing items has been blazers. In the past, I would not look at blazers, because I equated them to old women’s business suits and did not want to look dated. However, the styles of blazers have come a long way and look great on everyone, including curvy women.

Check out how I styled a few of my favorite blazers and jackets!

Tuxedo Blazer

Traveling while being chic is my new fav. You do not have to be stuffy or dress lazy as you travel by airplane, train, or car. Over the summer, I was influenced by a content creator who paired a tuxedo blazer over leggings. I traveled to New York City for the weekend and wanted to recreate the look. I found a men’s tuxedo blazer in the men’s section, which fit me perfectly. I knew I wanted to wear it over athleisure, so I appreciated the longer length to cover my hips. I dressed it down with a baseball cap and a bright crossbody purse.

Multi-colored Jacket

A white T-shirt and jeans are staples in my closet. However, using an additional piece takes the look to the next level. I found the yellow and green jacket buttonless jacket at my local Goodwill. It brings the right amount of color for the perfect Fall day.

Orange Blazer

I found the perfect bright-colored blazer from Forever 21 at Goodwill. I knew I did not want to wear the blazer in a traditional sense. I added a pair of statement earrings and platform sneakers that were comfortable and stylish for a relaxed day in the office.

Blazers are multi-functional and available at great prices for less than $8.00 at Greater Washington Goodwill locations. Let me know what you find in the blazer section!
