During the pandemic, I found myself cruising the houseware section of Goodwill as I was enjoying my home space more. For great prices, you can find great items such as dinnerware, arts and crafts, and glassware. However, my latest obsession has been inspirational and funny mugs.

I found the Building My Empire mug at the Columbia Pike location, along with another stating You’re Nothing Short Of Amazing, which is a great reminder for anyone who needs a boost. Both mugs are an absolute steal at $.99 each.
The Glebe Road location is full of great housewares from furniture and mugs. I found this beauty sitting proudly on the shelf among other finds. I feel that as a young successful woman, I am both Badass and Brilliant. I also love the font on the mug, which was also $.99.
Now this was my favorite mug I found during my thrifting trip. It still had its retail sticker and showed a beautiful natural woman who knew she would succeed. I loved the texture and the color of the mug. I would also use the mug as a starter pot for a plant for $2.99.
If you guessed that I purchased the Badass and Brilliant mug, you are correct! I envision enjoying my morning tea or my evening ice cream from this mug. It is also a great conversation starter during a Zoom call!
