Today’s #MyGoodwillFind is a flirty base dress that can be accentuated with accessories galore! Its neutral cream color makes it the perfect canvas for any pop of color you choose.

Sewn with a lace floral material, this size 6 BB Dakota is a dress that will become a staple for the season. Not only is it sleeveless but the back has a unique keyhole as well.

This gem hits just above the knee and has a light lining underneath. It’s not too stretchy and closes with a zipper on the side.

At a boutique store or Nordstrom this piece would have originally retailed for at least $60.

What I love most about this Goodwill find is the warm cream color. It’s luscious and spring-friendly and will act as a nice neutral canvas for bright colors or calm pastels.

Pastels and Pops

In order to infuse some rich summer vibes into this already light dress, I’d wear bright color-block flats or sandals. My go-to colors would be pinks and greens. However, virtually any color would look phenomenal against this warm-toned dress.

If colorful shoes aren’t your thing, a bright necklace or handbag would suffice. On the runway I’ve been seeing fun handbags shaped like fruits and other objects recently. I’ve seen watermelons, pineapples… the whole nine yards! I think this type of accessory would be a great conversation piece.

A new color palette I want to experiment more with this season is light green and pastels. Although a bit reminiscent of Easter, pastels are such calming and soothing colors that are simple to style. They’re not too loud but still emanate a slight color that adds a fun infusion of cheerful notes to an ensemble. If I were to use pastel colors with this dress I’d do it with a bauble necklace or shoe.

How would you style this dress, fashionistas? Pastels or pops of color?
