Shoes are my favorite accessories! Even as a little girl, my mom made sure I had the cutest shoes to make any outfit pop. As the only girl out of four children, my shoe collection was extensive, with all the colors of the rainbow and styles for any look. As I got older, my love never stopped. My shoe collection is definitely over 100 pairs, including sneakers, heels, and boots.

Weeks ago, I visited the Columbia Pike store located in Arlington, VA, on a random weekday. I enjoy going during the weekday versus the weekend because there is more variety and fewer people in the store.

That store has a great shoe collection, and I always seem to find quality items there. During this trip, I found a pair of sheer booties adorned with a floral design. It also had a block heel, which has been my go-to as I get older. Stilettos are cute to look at but not to walk in for many hours. They were my size and could serve as great Spring and Summer shoes. They were a steal for less than $15.00!

I was invited to a church service where they requested everyone wear green for Mental Health Month. I chose to wear a pair of Kelly green Bermuda shorts and a white eyelet top that were both thrifted at Goodwill. I added shoes and accessories to finish the look.

I’m convinced that a pair of shoes can make any outfit. Check out the shoe section during your next Goodwill trip! Drop off a pair to donate and stop inside to find a snazzy replacement to add pizzazz to your wardrobe.
