A numinous November 2024 to you, my fellow gifted thrifters and thrifty gifters! Third and last month of Fall, Cheshvan and Kislev of 5785, Native/Indigenous and Trans Month. Month of All Saints and All Souls Days, Daylight Saving Time, Election Day, Veterans Day, Trans Week, Transgender Day Of Remembrance (TDOR), Native Day Of Mourning, and Thanksgiving.
I walked from my home to my Goodwill here in Gaithersburg in August, September and October! And Lyfted my way back – because, as always, my Goodwill was a Greatwill. I used my reusable Goodwill shopping bags – do you have yours yet? I also spotted this supportive stencil in the dressing room, awww.

In August, I got four dresses, a nightie, pajamas (in a Hanukkah print), six tops, yoga pants, shorts, three skorts, two skirts, three bags, a luggage tag (that’s a mermaid), a menorah, a stained glass trinket box (in a Hanukkah design), two wreaths, indoor/outdoor number stickers for a project, a three-ring binder for another project, a tabletop display for photos and whatnot, a decorative sign (that’s a seahorse), wall hooks, giftwrap, sealing wax, and four presents for family and friends!
In September, five dresses, three tunics / minidresses, a skort, four skirts, a sweatshirt, a scarf, fingerless gloves, sandals, two bags, and two presents for family!
In October, four tops, a shirt, shorts, a skort, a skirt, two tees, a night light (that’s a blue crab), oven mitts (Halloween themed), tassels to make into earrings, a plate stand for my nightstand, a coaster (from and about Minnesota, where I visit family), and three presents for family!

And all three times I searched for all the seashore items, because I adore the shore. There was a Little Mermaid, mermaid-y dresses, a skirt, shoes, and mini purse:

I’m planning a December visit! In the meantime, I’ll be looking at DC Goodwill’s Shop Goodwill site. And working on my December post for you, which is about the ninth annual Mycroft’s Menorah Mishigas – my thrifted and gifted menorah collection, much of it from Goodwill.
