When everyone thinks of good ol’ Santa Claus, we imagine a big man wearing a red jacket trimmed with white fuzz, a big white beard, a black buckle belt, and a comfy large hat.
This holiday, a Canadian model is pushing the boundaries of Santa’s style and making him a suave, compelling fashion icon (he’s pretty cute, too!).
This is the first time I’ve ever seen Santa transformed drastically into almost another character.

Daily Mail  states that this fashionable Santa is named Paul Mason, and is a professional model from our fellow country, Canada. He’s been a model for many years, and was brought in as the new Santa in an effort to promote a Toronto Mall. With this stint, he is helping to bring funding to the SickKids Foundation. For every person who posts a selfie with Fashion Santa using the hashtag #YorkdaleFashionSanta’, money will be donated to the charity.
Isn’t this an awesome promotion? It combines a timeless loved character with modern fashion and advertising. It really brings Santa into this day in age, and keeps us talking about him (although we already obsess over him!;))

I personally love this modern Santa’s style. It’s very fresh and dapper, but still brings in old school vibes. It’s a bit rustic, yet calls back to older decades of fashion. This is one classy old man.
I’m also in love with all the photos from the campaign. Although I’m missing some reindeer and a modern version of Santa’s sleigh, the photography is compelling and on point.
It also has a warm and historical element, like Santa has always been this way….just behind closed doors. Or, this is Santa at a “younger” old age.
Santa is even wearing his red coat…it’s just edgy and leather!

What do you think of this new version of Santa, fashionistas? He’s pretty cool, right?!
