On June 8th, the Goodwill locations in Centreville, Dale City, Manassas and Sterling VA reopened with adjusted store hours from 10:00 am to 6:00pm.

My Aunt, cousins and I decided to make our way to the Dale City location on reopening day; I was on the hunt for a bookcase to convert into a shoe organizer.

When we arrived, there was no line and we were excited to walk right in with our masks on. There was an attendant sitting at the door taking count of shoppers to ensure the store didn’t exceed their capacity. This was a measure implemented to ensure social distancing. He then showed us were the sanitized carts were and provided us with disinfectant wipes.

The floors were all marked with directional instructions to also make sure that all shoppers were abiding by the social distancing guidelines.

My first stop was the shoes. As I browsed the section, I found some Funky Fabulous mules! I first wasn’t crazy about the floral detail. Honestly, I was standing in the store trying to figure out how I could remove it lol. But the heel detail sold me once I tried them on the flower grew on me.

The sleepwear section was the next section I visited! I scored a beautiful two-piece pajama set and this bold colorful robe.

I did not want to go overboard on purchasing clothes since I knew I was on a mission to find a bookcase.

The furniture section pleasantly surprised me for there were so many amazing pieces to choose from.

I was able to get the bookcase I had been on the hurt for; it houses my ever-growing shoe collection perfectly! Now that I think about it, I should have bought two. 🙂

I also found BEAUTIFUL 4 panel room divider and I am excited to incorporate this piece into my LattieMooreStyle décor!

As you see, the Dale City Goodwill location did not disappoint. So many hidden gems were found, I could have stayed in the stores for hours! It felt good to be back in my element, I am looking forward to visiting some of the other VA locations.

AMENDMENT: About two weeks ago (as mentioned in this post), I spotted this chair.

I sat in it (after I wiped it down) and instantly envisioned where I would place it in my space. I made plans to replace the legs and eventually get it upholstered. Soon after that I saw this gem, I found out that another customer purchased it… I was DEVASTATED,

Fast Forward today (6/13/2020), my Aunt spotted the chair and grabbed the tag. It was meant to be! It’s the perfect addition to the LattieMooreStyle ShowRoom!
