Every now and again, I find something so unbelievable at Goodwill that I can’t wait to share it with you all. During this particular trip, I was browsing the nonprofit New York Ave store in Washington, DC.

That store is known to have hidden gems hanging in plain sight if you take the time to search for them. Also, those finds may not have well-known brand names written to tell you it’s a major find. Just take your time and do your research.

Back to this amazing find: the store is set up with shoes and purses on the wall near the entrance. Purses, especially crossbody bags and fanny packs, are my style because I like to keep my hands free while wandering the city streets.

My eyes were drawn to the snakeskin print with neon piping. I was also intrigued by the shape and size of the bag because it looked like it could be worn as a fanny pack or bum bag for ease. As I continued to check the bag out, I discovered that it was made by Loeffler Randall. She is a female clothing and accessories designer in Soho, New York City.

The bag is described as the Lisel Crossbody bag and retails for $295. I also found the bag on Rent the Runway for $180, which is great. However, I scored it from Goodwill for $4.99! I can’t believe it, and it’s in near-perfect condition.

Another awesome score from Greater Washington Goodwill!
