I hope your weekend was as wonderful as mine, dear readers. I had the pleasure of spending my Sunday morning with fellow savvy shopping fashionistas at the Columbia Pike Goodwill Store in Arlington, VA. I hosted a VIP Shop-A-Long as a part of my DC Goodwill Fashionistas MeetUp Group; we were able to gain special access to the store so we got an hour of shopping before doors opened to the public. I think I can speak for all of the group in saying that made for a really relaxing shopping experience!

A cart full of #MyGoodwillFind pieces, hand picked by the DCGF for YOU!

After getting our fill of sweet morning carbs, courtesy of Goodwill, we hit the racks and started pulling amazing things left and right. We had a blast singing a long to the awesome throwback pop station that the store had playing, too. I will tell you, from homegoods to shoes, we covered every inch of Columbia Pike! Here are a few snap shots of our morning…

And it wouldn’t be a review of a DCGF event if I didn’t share some close ups of what we scored while shopping. Among my favorite finds of the fashionistas were a brand new Fossil overnight bag, still with tags attached, and a popping Tahari blazer. All the fashionistas received 25% off coupons to make their deals of the day even sweeter! Check out some of the finds…

Kat snagged this AMAZING and BRAND NEW (WITH TAGS!!) Fossil overnight bag. It retailed for $158.00!

I went home with a couple Anne Taintor mugs - they are so witty and cute!

This blazer was such a rich color, so glad one of our fashionistas scooped it up!

How fab is this vintage ottoman?!

I would love to see you at my next DC Goodwill Fashionista’s Meetup – I haven’t penciled it into the calendar yet, but I am thinking we need to have a repeat at the Dale City Goodwill store. Any thoughts on this location?

Thank you so much to all the ladies (and gentleman!) that came out to shop along with me. I had so much fun spending my morning with you, sharing Goodwill stories and fashion advice galore. Until next time!

If you would like to join in on all the fun, head over to The DC Goodwill Fashionistas group on Meetup  and sign up!
