Purging and organizing my space is important as the Summer is ending and the Fall season approaches. It is so easy to collect things over time and end up with more than you could have imagined. Thankfully, Goodwill offers a little bit of everything, including ways to keep yourself organized.
As a foodie, my spice cabinet can be a mess and overflowing with everything from paprika, turmeric, and bay leaves. I have a shelf dedicated to my spices, which are not very organized. However, I found individual spice bottles with various spice names to stay better organized. I also buy certain spices in bulk, and keeping them in labeled jars makes life a lot easier.
The jars were in the Houseware section in the South Dakota Ave Goodwill location in Washington, DC, with the rest of the glassware. Each jar looks new and even has shaker lids to capture just the right amount of spice for your dishes. They were a steal at 99 cents each and will cut down on the time spent trying to find the perfect spice for my dishes.
As the Fall approaches, get organized with items from Goodwill at a fraction of the price with a great cause and vision for the community!
