I love my local Goodwills, here in the Gaithersburg area, but I also visit family in the Minneapolis (Minnesota) area, and of course I’ve had to check out Goodwill there.

I try to visit at least one local Goodwill when I travel, and I’ve been visiting family in Minnesota for the last few years.  So I wanted to tell you about my first visit to a Goodwill in the Minneapolis area – Apple Valley, to be exact. 

Nu, because dragon fandom is so big, thrifting dragon items can be competitive and otherwise challenging.  But that also means there’s a huge quantity, quality and diversity of dragon items on the thrifting market.  I’ve been very pleasantly surprised by the many fabulous dragon items I’ve seen and thrifted, offline and on, at Goodwill.  

Yes, the Jewish High Holy Days / Holidays begin this month, with Rosh Hashanah, Jewish New Year – 5785 will end and 5786 will begin.  Nu, as is also tradition, we’re going to look at some Judaica, Jewish art and ritual objects, here today.  I love and collect it (join me here and on my social media in December for my TENTH ANNUAL Mycroft’s Menorah Mishigas!).
