This past Saturday morning, a sizable group of local DC Goodwill fashionistas and I hit one of my favorite DC Goodwill spots: the Rockville, MD location.
I’ve been venturing out to this store for almost a decade and I always walk out with a variety of treasures in hand. This particular morning was no exception. Although the Meetup started at 8AM, the energy was high and carts were full.
Here are some snapshots of goodies that were spotted while we were on the hunt.
This blouse was my favorite find of the morning. It is an exceptionally unique and hard find. I feel like I found a one-of-a-kind piece that will be sure to have people stop in the streets to ask about it. Plus, it’s by high end designer, Roland Mouret, whose tops can go for as high as $1,000 on the Neiman Marcus site!
What do you think of this style of short sleeves? Don’t you love the avant-garde fabric and structure?
I had an amazing time at our Meetup as expected. It’s always such a pleasure to meet like-minded individuals who love style and shopping with smarts. There’s honestly nothing better than shopping and meeting new people all while contributing to a great cause and providing job opportunities in the community. It is an unparalleled experience.
If you couldn’t attend this MeetUp, come to the next one happening November 26 at the Goodwill location in Herndon, VA! I assure you, you won’t be disappointed. Sign up here! <3
