Dearest fashionistas, now that it’s fall, we can start whipping out our sweaters and styling them for the season!

Today’s #MyGoodwillFind is a sweater that I wish I had in my own closet (darn you, sizing!) to wear this October. It’s so warm and comfy, I could live in it!

This originally $100+ forest green textured small Free People sweater, will pair perfectly with a variety of clothing items such as pants or a skirt. Because the length of the long sleeve hits just below the waist, this shirt is both versatile and in trend.

I personally would wear this sweater with a pair of slick darker color denim with a nice and sturdy pair of boots and a chunky necklace at a casual networking event or a brunch out with the ladies.

Thinking about denim specifically, you could go in either direction when it comes to cut. Both skinnies or flared bell bottoms will complement the sweater, since the top is on the slimmer tunic-styled side. If the sweater were any boxier or loose, bell bottoms might look too loose and unflattering.

Along with a pair of bottoms, a unique but comfortable pair of booties will help to form a fashionable boho-but-modern look. Buckles or zippered booties in colors such as camel brown, sangria red or a lighter black won’t look harsh against the softer fall forest green. I personally would opt for a black or red, two colors that always look good on me, but if you love rocking shades of brown, the green tone will match perfectly.

Talking about bling, a bauble statement necklace will tie your whole ensemble together, while adding an ounce of shine and flair. Warmer tones such as dark reds and golds are two fool-proof colors that will always look good with this sweater. If you’re thinking red might look too Christmas-y with the green, don’t worry. Since the type of red isn’t warm or bright, that holiday vibe will not emanate.
