The Bowie location has officially opened!
Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of attending a private store launch of the newest Goodwill Retail Store in Bowie, MD. Finally, a Goodwill store in my neck of the woods in PG County! The brightly lit, massive store is filled with what we expect from a fully stocked Goodwill store: a good mix of high and low end brand names in clothing, shoes, accessories, and furniture items in perfect condition, lots of unique knick knacks, and so much more. My favorite department, however, is the books section, arranged to fill up an entire wall. It made for a pretty photo.
After the festivities, we had the opportunity to shop. I came away with two handbags, one of which being a Michael Kors Satchel.
If you’re in the area, I urge you to make your way down there. Also, it has a Donation Center, too, and donations are very much still accepted.
