It was a busy one at Goodwill; Saturday was the 50% Super Savings Sale and Sunday was my monthly Meetup at the Dale City Goodwill Store. Did you make it out to the Super Sale? I’d love to hear about your experience! I couldn’t make it this time but I heard it was wild!
Sunday, I started my morning with a lovely group of fellow savvy shopping fashionistas at the Dale City, VA Goodwill. Now, if you follow the blog, you know that this store is one of my favorites. I don’t make it out to Dale City often, but you better believe that when I do – I have to stop in this Goodwill. We rant and rave at Dale City for three things: size, organization and selection! My fellow Meetup gals and I spent almost two hours scavenging through the racks on racks of designer goods. I came home with some amazing things, thanks to my shopping pals!
After we fueled up on caffeine and carbs, we set out with our carts to get our fill of #MyGoodwillFinds and I’ll say, we did that and more! Here are a few snapshots from the morning…

The DC Goodwill Fashionista Meetups are always great because we look out for each other! Carolyn remembered that I was looking for a coat for my Mom and spotted this Patagonia fleece; while it wasn’t my Mom’s size, it was mine – (sorry mom!). It’s fun knowing everyone’s sizes and pulling pieces that you think they’ll like! Sam and I wear the same size shoe, so we always look out for sassy 8.5’s for each other. I think it is safe to say that we all love shoes. I was thrilled when I found these Pour La Victoire wedges for $7.99. I looked them up and they retailed for $169. Amazing, right?!
