This new with tags find is a small navy blue and black wool jacket By Corpus from Urban Outfitters. When worn, this blazer’s sleeves hit the forearm, with the bottom hitting the waist. It’s ornamented with one button closure in the front and a few on the sleeves. The sleeves also feature three black velvety stripes to match the piping on the collar.
At full retail, this blazer was originally over $100+ from Urban Outfitters.
If I were to rock this blazer this season, I think it would look snazzy with slick black pants, skinny or wide-legged, and a pair of pointy black or dark colored lacey boots. Whether you want to wear this blazer to work or out for an evening with co-workers, my proposed combination will work for both occasions. Black pants are versatile enough and a wardrobe staple that has a multitude of uses. And neutral booties? Depending on if they have a heel or not, you can wear those for an entire day without having to change shoes depending on the outfit. They, too, are a wardrobe item that can be styled for virtually any occasion.
Now what to actually wear under the wool Urban blazer is the question. You could sport a black sheer blouse or band tee, but I think black and white stripes could be fun to experiment with. This horizontal pattern will add another fascinating linear visual detail against the black ribbing on the blazer. All the intersecting lines will undoubtedly draw some attention!
