Every Goodwill store I have ever visited has an extensive glassware aisle. Whenever I need to buy new wine/ brandy/ juice/ etc. glasses, I head to Goodwill first. Thinking ahead to New Years Eve parties and home décor, Goodwill’s glassware might be just what you need!

For A Simple Home Décor Idea

Fill up a few large glass vases with confetti for New Year’s. I love seeing a few of these of varying heights in the middle of a dining table as a centerpiece or staged on the mantle with lights and garland around them. To get some variation, consider heading outside of a couple small branches and throwing them in a glass vase with lights, as well!

Feeling Artsy?

Turn a few Goodwill wine glasses into unique candle holders. Simply flip them upside down and paint a holiday design on them! Goodwill is also a great place to find pillar candles and tea lights.

For Those Who are Hosting A Holiday Party and Need Some Décor On A Budget

Consider setting up a holiday candy buffet. Start with some unique glassware pieces from your local Goodwill and add candy canes, peppermints, and other holiday candies.

A Small Twist On The Candy Buffet

Use that glassware to set up a hot chocolate station. Fill different pieces with marshmallows, caramel, peppermint sticks, almond slivers, and anything else your heart desires to make a dazzling display.

What I love most about each of these ideas is that they can be tweaked for EVERY season and holiday. Change out the ornaments in your glass vases for  Easter eggs, summery shells, mini pumpkins, etc. Decorate the wine glass candle holders for your favorite holiday.  Switch out the candies in the candy buffet for any seasonal candies! The possibilities are endless.
