Cooler temperatures are here in the DC area, which means hats, scarves, and gloves are needed to stay warm. Over the years, I have acquired different types, particularly liking vintage, crochet, and leather accessories. However, finding ways to store and display them has been difficult. Previously I used a basket but I would have to empty it out to find my favorite scarf. However, with a little imagination, I was able to find better storage in a creative way. 

As a self-proclaimed sneakerhead, I have found great sneakers at Goodwill at great prices with brands such as Nike, Puma, and Adidas. Who would have thought a pair of Air Jordans 11s would be sitting in the case in great condition?

As much as I love jackets, I also love camouflage items. I consider the pattern and fabric neutral and will rock it with everything from denim to leather to sequins. At one time, I owned over 15 authentic camo jackets that I have purchased over the years. However, this find was special. 

My absolute favorite part of the outfit is my blue sequin joggers pants. I found them at the South Dakota location Goodwill last year for $5.99!

I have a list of dream cookware that I would love to make part of my kitchen collection, including a Le Creuset Dutch oven. A few months ago, while browsing the kitchenware aisle of Goodwill, a cobalt blue item caught my attention. As I lifted it, I discovered it was indeed a Le Creuset Dutch oven! However, it has been a little too well-seasoned on the bottom of the pot. Even though it was a bit beat up, I couldn’t leave it at the store for $3.99! A similar Dutch oven averages around $400.00 brand new and will last you a lifetime.
