Dearest readers, y’all know I love shoes, and if these shoes were in my size, they would definitely be in my closet! A fashionista cannot have enough wedges – they’re comfortable, somewhat dressy and come in a variety of styles!
Today’s #MyGoodwillFind is a pair of size 6.5 Steve Madden wedges decorated with a Missoni like Aztec woven print.
The heel on these is tall, standing at about 3 inches. Despite the height, they’re comfortable due to the thick caramel colored straps and buckles that secure these on your feet. At full retail price, these would total about $135, but today, you’re getting a total steal!

Because the wedge kicks have a boho Missoni-style pattern and a rustic color scheme, I’d recommend wearing these in a more Free People-inspired hippie look comprised of many clashing patterns, fun textures, and vibrant colors.
I know pattern mixing can be a challenge, so as a tip, to pattern mix with these wedge wonders, I’d look for patterns that either have similar angles and shapes or similar color scheme. This is exhibited in the pants that I picked out in the collage. As you see, the pattern in the pants is angled, plus, it has shades of brown and orange.

If you don’t want to go too crazy with pants, feel free to integrate patterns buy adding jewelry. I nice pair of denim will create a nice rest between the patterns, keeping one’s eye moving up and down your look.
But if you’re not feeling patterns at all, a nice lacey tetured cream top will match well. I myself have a Free People Goodwill top from the Annandale location that I know would be great with these shoes. It’s beaded and consists of weaving and braids.
Before I wrap this post, let’s talk bling! I’m thinking that you can really experiment with necklaces, bracelets and earrings while wearing these Steve Maddens because they give off a free-spirited vibe. That said, I’d wear jewelry that resembles works of art, but still has a hippie vibe. Chains, jade and dangles are all styles and materials that I would fuse into my boho chic Western ensemble.
How would you style these zig-zag Steve Madden wedges, readers? Would you go all out with patterns and textures or let the shoes shine by themselves?
