No matter what you place with your repurposed Christmas trees, they will certainly stand out and stand proud as they add love, light and laughter to your holiday gatherings.

It is with a broken heart and flowing tears that I take a moment to honor and celebrate my sweet kitty Gypsy who was often my DIY model and muse.  She died unexpectedly on November 25, 2022. and, as I looked for pictures of her, I realized what a big part of my upcycling and transformational journey she has been.  

This DIY project will be glad you are going downhill—at least on the ski slopes!  You won’t wipe out when you upcycle old ski poles into a new windchime that will capture attention and make music, whether or not they are calling for snow.

An elegant, upholstered side chair is given a jewel-toned transformation to take her from wallflower to belle of the ball.  And yes, she was given her colorful new look not with dye, not with new fabric but rather with spray paints designed just for fabric.
