I’m super excited to be able to collaborate with Goodwill again!
Many of you might not know but Goodwill was one of the first national brands that gave us the chance to partner for a major collaboration. If you have been following the DCGF since 2011 then you should remember the launch of our “Mad Men” inspired lookbook,
We had such a blast photographing, styling and putting the event together. The collab was a pretty big success and since than, we have collaborated with many more national brands such as South Moon Under, JCPenney, Free People and more. We will always thank Goodwill for our first major blogger exposure though! 🙂
Here we are in 2016 and I’m super exited to partner up with Goodwill again for this fun project. I’ve always envisioned curating my own little pop up shop and in this collaboration I was able to do just that. We visited three different Goodwill locations in the DMV.
Fall inspired items you can expect to see on my rack!
The items I picked are on trend this fall. I went with pieces that you can still buy and wear during these last few weeks of Summer but can easily transform them into fall outfits by layering. This season I’m all about denim skirts, jumpers and chunky sweaters. I also found a great selection of heavier coats for the winter.
Carla from Spicy Candy DC
Among the brands that you’ll find in my rack are Free People, H&M, Zara and lots of vintage items, specially blazers and denim skirts. I hope to see you at the Edited Summer Trunk Show 8/25-8/26! If you happen to buy an item that is from our section, please tweet at us or tag us on a photo by using hashtag#SCDCStyle 😉

Wow! The pieces you picked up and put together look amazing! It’s too bad I am just now reading this and don’t live in DC. I live in LA and your style really resonates with me. I will check out your blog and hopefully you have a Poshmark, Tradesy, or Ebay account that I can shop from. 🙂
