I love the basics, dear readers. Give me a white t-shirt, jeans, and a pair of sandals and I’m a happy lady. I mean, I love patterns and prints and colors, don’t get me wrong, but naturally I’m just drawn toward neutrals and classic styles because they’re so easy to create outfits with. Once you build your wardrobe basics, like black pants and fitted blazers, you can mix and match with ease. No wardrobe is complete without the classic basic of a pair of sexy slingbacks and today’s Marc Fisher heels will be a perfect fit in any fashionista’s closet.

We all know that savvy shoppers look for pieces that can be worn in many different ways and these size 8 shoes can take you from the corner office to dinner with friends. In classic black, they’ll match with just about anything, I mean even mixing black and brown in on trend, so what can’t you wear them with? The peep toe is great for showing off your summer pedicure and the slingback strap keeps your shoe snug without the possibility of blisters. The heel will definitely give you some height and make your legs look super long. Plus, the platform adds some extra height to keep your toes dry if you get caught in one of those summer showers.
What are your thoughts on heels for the office? What black shoes do you wear the most? What outfit would you create with these fun slingbacks? Leave your two cents below in the comments!
I looked back and forth from your clothing collection to the shoes…you’re right! These platforms go with everything! I recently realized that pointy toe pumps are on their way back in and I thought I would have to sit out that trend this time around…fallen metatarsal in the ball of my foot. Then last week I found a pair of Michael Michael Kors black Flex pumps at the Goodwill for $10. I googled them and found that they are still available at Nordstrom! I put them on and click-clacked all over the store in them. So comfy!! I felt beyond classy. Right now I can only think to pair them with my cuffed skinny jeans…but your collection gives me the idea that their may be unlimited possibilities! Thank you!
Monica, great story! I love it when I know I found a gem at Goodwill 🙂
