A just January 2023 to you, my fellow gifted thrifters and thrifty gifters!
Second month of Winter, Tevet and Shvat of 5783! Month of Asara B’Tevet, Twelfth Night, Epiphany, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Lunar New Year (of the Rabbit and Cat), and Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Nu, I don’t know about you, but this has seemed like a long month in a long Winter. No, not a cold Winter, even for the DMV. Especially not to me, as I lived in the Boston area until 2014. But a very cloudy one. (I can’t complain about the rain, because we need to store it for the Summer.) With a lot of bad news and other mishigas.
A cure? The shore! Nu, if you know me, you know I love the seashore. It’s one of the biggest themes of my life, my thrifting, and my guest blogging here. I don’t get to the shore enough, but maybe that can change this year.
