Sometimes a good basic is the key foundation to a stunning outfit. It makes for the best canvas so bottoms and jewelry can pop.
Although today’s #MyGoodwillFind isn’t entirely classic, it would be the perfect layering, neutral piece in a spring or summer ensemble.

This is an ombre gray, metallic, new with tags, Splendid top with 3/4 sleeve. It originally sold for $128 and is distributed at stores such as South Moon Under and Bloomingdale’s.
To the touch, the fabric of this blouse is soft and breathable. When worn, it hits the waist and would look splendid (no pun intended) with a pair of denim.
If I were to integrate this top into an ensemble, I think a brand new pair of white skinnies or pants would do just the trick. I know it’s not quite Memorial Day, but who said one can’t wear white pants year round? They’re cute, bright, and emanate warm weather vibes.
If you really don’t feel like wearing white pants, some dark skinny jeans will look fine as well. Every fashionista must have a pair of these in her closet!
Let’s talk footwear. Wedges, flats, loafers… you name it, the style will compliment this ombre top. I personally would opt for a pair of on-trend, Steve-Madden-style, open toe, black sandals with a mini heel. I just scored a pair of these myself and they’re my new spring shoe staple. Also, I’d wear pointy flats to mix it up for work.
For accessory touches, gold and silver both work depending on your desired metal. I’m a big fan of dangly, 80’s inspired earrings; so I’d opt to wear a pair of gold, modern, door knocker earrings without a necklace. For the workplace, I’d throw on a stylish, edgy watch that also would function as a bracelet.
How would you style this ombre, over-sized, Splendid top, fashionistas? Would you go the casual route like myself?
I loved that top, looks so comfy and fresh, perfect for the summer, I would mix that with some black highheels and ripped jeans I think that would be a very cool outfit. I would choose golden because silver with a gray top it is not something I could do! Great article, thanks!
