Mirror, mirror on the wall….
Outdated, boring, rather blah…
You didn’t fit their home décor…
So they donated you to the Goodwill store.
It must have been my lucky day!
I knew I would buy you right away.
The frame was sturdy. The glass was fine.
And you only cost $9.99.
(I also found this awesome sign
which I’m adopting as a new motto of mine.)
When I got home, I knew just what to do.
I would make this old mirror look entirely new.
I got out my paint. I got out my brush.
It only took a few minutes. No need to rush.
When I was finished, I wanted to cheer.
I had completely updated this cute little mirror.
(I still can’t decide which one I like most.
The mirror or the table from this other blog post?)
You can do the same thing too —
Create home décor that’s perfect for you.
Just head down to Goodwill. See what you can find.
Consider new options. Open your mind.
You can transform many things to fit your personal style.
And when you do, you will sit back and smile!
