I am ALL about discovering food and fashion items when I visit Goodwill.

You can usually find me checking out platform sandals or kitchen tools. However, during this particular trip, I was drawn to the art and frame section, for I need some new flair for my apartment’s walls.

I saw splashes of pink, turquoise, gray and finished with gold flecks from across the store. It was so simple, yet so beautiful to me. almost like a Jackson Pollock. It was then and there that I knew I found something that had my name (and walls), written all over it.

After discovering this interesting decor, I put it in my cart and finished up my shopping trip. I was beyond excited to get the painting up in my living room.

My friend Jennifer and I headed to my apartment for some girl time.

As we talking, I asked if she could assist in hanging the art (she’s such an awesome friend!). Before I knew it, we were both behind my couch with nails and a hammer positioning the painting.

Through trial and error, Jennifer was able to hang the art and she even formed homemade putty to fill some premature holes made. She definitely taught me some new techniques – that’s what friends are for!

I am in love with how well the painting fits in with the flow of my living space.

It was a bargain at a whole $4.99!

And you know that the original prices of art are hundreds of bucks!

Amazing finds can be discovered all over any thrift store.

During your next shopping experience, make sure to browse the art decor! You never know what you’ll find – perhaps even a Van Gogh!
