It’s finally feeling like fall here in the DMV and therefore, I am snuggling up in my favorite cozy fall fashions. I wanted to share one of my cooler weather staples with you today to inspire your transitional wardrobes!
If you don’t have a sweater dress, you’re really missing out. Sweater dresses are surprisingly versatile – they can be worn with bare legs, tights, leggings, jeans, knee-high boots and more. More so, they really do make the perfect mate to a fall boot! You can dress them up or down with fun accessories, making them the perfect outfit for work or for play.
Here’s the catch – if you’re familiar with any high-quality sweater, they can come with a serious price tag. Especially if you are looking for 100% cashmere or merino wool (the good stuff!). Well, once again my dear readers, your Goodwill queen has swooped in to save you BIG this fall season. Take a look at the pristine Talbots Merino Wool Sweater Dress I spotted at the Kings Highway Goodwill Store. Unfortunately, it was not my size but I had to snap a few pictures to share with you because it was gorgeous. A dress like this new from Talbots would cost you over $115.00. But this one? It was only $8.99 at Goodwill! Amazing, right?
I went home with this one from the Loft which is valued at close to $80.00! I plan to style mine with knee-high suede boots and a chunky scarf.
