Dear readers I’m excited about today’s #MyGoodwillFind because it has three of my favorite things: it’s pink,  is a dress, and looks like pop art! And to top it off you can wear it for work and for play -which is always a bonus.

This dress by Cache in a size 4 has a rounded neck and hits right around the knee. It has very short sleeves, which still keeps the dress a summer star. The colors on this piece really POP! The hot pinks, reds and bright whites capture a lot of attention in a good way. I love me a floral dress and this print is hands down a unique take on this kind of print. The flowers are very abstract, yet recognizable forms. To top it off, the print decorates this dress all  360 degrees. And even though this dress is by Cache which recently went out of business, it’s  timeless and classic.

Now let’s talk about how we can wear this to work and a night out using a combination of accessories, jackets, and shoes.

for work and play

Jackets: For a fall work outfit this dress screams blazer to me. The high neck and slimming shape will fit very nicely under any jacket. It’s not too big or drapey; no wrinkling or gathering will occur while being worn under a jacket. It fits perfectly snug. For an evening outfit and if you want to be edgy, I recommend a motorcycle jacket in black, tan, or gold. Because the dress is more on the tighter side, a structured motorcycle jacket would complement the dress quite nicely. If you’re into pattern mixing, you can never go wrong with hot pink and leopard print. To go more on the bolder side, try a cheetah or leopard printed blazer. That will surely turn some heads!

Shoes: A pair of black or nude pumps are great for the workplace and I’d wear open toed shoes to a dinner party. Two staple shoes you can’t go wrong with!

Bling: Whenever I wear a dress with a high neck, such as this one, I usually wear a big chunky or simple bib-style necklace. It will echo the neckline of the dress and sit nicely over the fabric. I especially like this type of neckline because I won’t have an itchy metal touching my bare neck! Silver and gold tones have me saying yes. Earrings should be basic and small with a big necklace. If you choose not to wear a necklace, you can go full force on the earrings. Make them POP! For arm candy, totally go for it. Bangles, bracelets, the whole shebang!

How would you style this piece dear readers? Would you wear it to work, a dinner date, or both?
