It is finally Fall, which is my favorite season of the year. This includes cleaning and refreshing my space for the upcoming cooler seasons.
Changing the decor in my bathroom from bright and colorful to my classic favorite of black and white is essential for this calming time.
Last year, my black and white decor included gold as a metallic element. My metallic piece at the time was an encouraging artwork that states, “Shine…..”; however, it did not feel like a cohesive part element this year, so the search for new-to-me artwork began.
Each nonprofit Goodwill location has specific pros. The Ashdale store in Dale City, VA, has a massive home section bursting with donated artwork. They have so much that a store section has artwork lined up against the wall!
This past weekend, I went to the Ashdale store to find the perfect artwork for my bathroom. As I browsed through the countless pieces of art, I found two matching pieces that were just right.
One piece says “Rise & Shine Pretty Girl.” and the other says “A Girl Should Be Two Things, Classy and Fabulous.”
They are great reminders as I begin my day each morning.
Each piece was priced at $11.99, which is already an incredible price. However, the color of the week was orange, which made each piece less than $3.00!
If you are looking to refresh your home decor, I urge you to check out Goodwill. It really is a treasure hunt!
