Goodwill Clinton, MD Grand Opening Recap

Here’s a snap of me right before the doors opened! So excited to shop, you have no idea!

Fashionistas, this weekend marked another grand opening of a DC Goodwill store in the DC/MD/VA region: Clinton, MD! This is the second store in PG County and is the 4th largest of all of the DC Goodwill stores.

Bright and early on Saturday morning, I made my way to the ribbon cutting and opening event.

All donated goods were 25% off, there was free Italian ice, face painting, and best of all…..the racks were packed with gems galore!

Movement and people shopping like crazy! It felt like Black Friday, the event was such a success.

The store was packed with items, from aisle to aisle. This location has all the necessities: furniture, housewares, clothing, electronics….the whole she-bang. I especially had fun in the fitness-wear section.

My cart was so packed full of items at one point, it was overwhelming! The pants section at this Goodwill had designer after designer pair ready to be purchased. These white J Brand jeans were under $7, that normally go for $50+ at full retail.

At the event I ran into a new friend and fellow fashionista named Valerie. She found both a brand new with tags Kate Spade tote and this cashmere Talbots sweater. Talk about two great staples for the fall!

This dress is actually a part of my outfit this morning. A nice boho dress for under $8!

J Crew and vintage gems galore! Both totaled under $20.

A vintage sequin cardigan? Don’t mind if I do! Less than $20.

And finally, here is one of the snapshots taken of me with my cart full of goods. Even after going through everything, it was still filled to the brim. By the way, my skirt is a Goodwill find. 🙂
