Dearest fashionistas, as you might’ve read, on Monday I featured one of my favorite little black dresses from Goodwill. To keep the momentum going, I wanted to share another LBD with you…except you might be able to take home this one!
Every fashionista needs a few little black dresses in their wardrobe, and this would make a great addition to any closet or armoire. In fact, if this one fit me, it’d already be in my own closet!

Today’s #MyGoodwillFind is a black ribbed Calvin Klein dress in a size 4P. It’s elegantly edgy and veraciously va va voom! This v and heart-necked little number is a staple for a date night at the club or bar, it hits just above the knee, allowing any fashionista to show off a little leg without being too revealing.
The fabric of this gem is ribbed and stretchy, allowing comfort while dancing on the popping dance floor. Although it’s made of a bit of a thicker body-hugging material, you will not sweat too much in the summer heat.
A little black dress creates an amazing canvas for color experimentation and play. As you saw with my Monday post, I chose to embrace hot pinks to replicate a cutesy Kate Spade look.

But for this dress, I would go for a little more mod/Art Deco/Gwen Stefani classic ensemble. Reds, blues, yellows and clean whites are commonly seen in Art Deco paintings, and I’d incorporate that Art Deco color spectrum as inspiration for my palette.
Whether it’s with a pair of heels, blazer or color blocked clutch, the colors will make appearances from the top of my look to the bottom. These saturated splashes will keep the eye moving throughout the look, seeking and noticing everything that is standing out against the black canvas of a dress.
How would you style this dance night LBD, fashionistas? Would you go for a more Gwen Stefani Art deco look, or take inspiration from another subject?
