Today’s #MyGoodwillFind is the cutest size 2 little black dress I’ve seen in a while. The short-sleeve, scooped-neck, and body-hugging cut is classy and chic. Since it’s classic black, it can be worn for any occasion.
It has slightly stretchy black panels that fit the body like a glove. It flares off a tad at the bottom and hits above the knee. At full retail, this gem would have been $50+.
The classic black is a wonderful canvas for incorporating bright pops of saturated spring color; whether it’s with shoes, a handbag, or jewelry. This is THE dress to let your playful side come out.
For shoes, I envision styling this J Crew gem with comfortable, thick wedges or sandal platforms. A shoe in virtually any color would pair well with this dress. But pinks, blues, and greens would especially be my go-to picks.
However, if you don’t have colorful shoes, matte black sandals or wedges will work as well. You can also incorporate color through lipstick, a handbag, or bauble necklace! But as a warning, if you are going to run a loud bauble necklace, keep it low key with the earrings. 🙂
To top off this simple, yet tropical, vacation-style ensemble, a nice set of rings or bracelet will tie the look together. Lately, I’ve been a big fan of gold statement rings. They’re fun, easy to style, and are under $5 from Goodwill!
