“Leaf” no DIY parts behind!  Painted leaves, recently used as paint stamps, get transformed themselves as framed art.  It’s always fun to create something unexpected from items you might have previously discarded.  Real leaves painted silver now shimmer as original art.   

Inspired by a group art project where slices of real vegetables were used as stamps on canvases (see recent blog post), this DIY idea was brought from the garden inside to give a worn-out and weary dresser some sparkle and shine. This time, the seasonal twist was using plant leaves as stamps for a timeless transformation.

A Goodwill-found mirror gets a totally cosmic transformation using Mid-Century Modern design as inspiration. This easy DIY project pays homage to the design elements found in round wall clocks and mirrors of the 1950’s. It also uses repurposed items to honor today’s focus of being good stewards of our planet.
